The one thing that a stupid person can do is to surround themselves with people who are smart and take the advice of those people. TFG surrounds himself with either a) people who are just as dumb as he is or b) bootlickers who will tell TFG that he's 100% correct. Some are both (a) and (b).

A while back I had a customer who inherited a large portfolio of apartment buildings. She really wasn't bright and she had no interest in running a business. She wanted to care for horses and ride them in shows so she hired a team of professionals who ran the business while she collected her dividend checks and did her horse thing.

I always admired her for making that decision.

But we've survived some stupid presidents.
