It’s baffling that so many Democrats are failing to rally around a wildly successful president after one bad night. But it does remind me of why Republicans defeated Democrats in so many races Republicans should have lost.

Stevens makes a good point. The Dems, unlike the Republicans and MAGAs, are quick to panic, and quick to abandon candidates.

Trump's had plenty of bad nights. Have his supporters said he's got to go after gaffe-filled evenings like these?

Trump does that all the time. And yes, I was hoping he'd do it on Thursday. Unfortunately, it was Biden's turn.
