Well roughly 6 months ago Ricoh Company and various applicants filed a patent where they stated:

109 parts of plant-derived succinic acid (available from BioAmber Inc.)

You say "BioAmber Incorporated is dead" but Ricoh just told you they recently obtained product from BioAmber Incorporated.

Maybe a better use of time would be convincing Ricoh of your position.

No one is closing their position here. But hey maybe Ricoh could use some subpar volunteerism.

PS- oddly there is no mention of LCY Biosciences in that patent filed in late 2023
