Why on earth did they release news……

that they found a single coin?

Or over 950 artifacts have been recovered but only a single coin? That is, in fact, the "first PR, is it not?

I am of the opinion that IF they REALLY believed they had something substantial per a scan, they have to disclose that as it would be a material event.

They can say they “believe” it to be 3 chests of silver or whatever and they need to verify it, but they still have to disclose it.

Regardless, if they had something more substantial to share they would have. I don’t buy your….they’re scanning the whole site to see where the most treasure is before beginning excavation so the (ahem) first PR has maximum impact.

That’s just another excuse….ie kick the can down the road….,ie they ain’t got jack.

Oh, and I think I need to revise the weight of the coin. I previously said 1/4 oz of silver. I believe it’s 1/10 of an ounce.
