never got those little blisters from the athlete's foot, but yeah it was really annoying. I wanted to chop my foot off.. LOL One time down in Florida, I was playing shuffleboard with the crew in my bare feet. Stepped out into the grass and suddenly my foot felt like it was on fire. I thought I stepped on a discarded cigarette or something but when I looked down, my foot was covered in ants.

I realized then that they were fire ants and that their name is proper. I made a bee line to the swimming pool and dove in trying to get those little suckers off of me. I did get some tiny blisters from that one but I never went out without shoes there again.

Everyone around me was confused at the time because I just took off running but they all got the hint after I showed them what happened.
