Being from New York, my accent still gives me away. I might have left New York almost 40 years ago, but once I start talking someone always reminds me that I am not from around here.

There is a difference in life, you have your family, then you have friends who you have made over your life. Each one provides a sense of enjoyment, but when it comes to certain topics it is always better to keep those opinions to yourself.
