good on you.... I was wondering what would come of those black toes. A few years ago I stepped on a nail that went through my boot and just barely pricked me. I finished the day but by the time got home I could hardly walk.

Dummy me just went to sleep and when I woke up, my foot was swollen like a balloon and I couldn't put any weight on it at all. I hopped my way to the hospital, driving was even rough, and had to wait for 10 hours to get to see a doctor.

It turned out it was an infection from the puncture. Some high grade antibiotics through an IV and an overnight stay fixed me up.

LOL I now know that was the first time I met my current girlfriend. She had pushed my cart from the ER to my private room. I was still married at the time and pretty doped up so I wasn't really paying attention but she tells me I was very nice.

When I crashed my scaffold and wound up back there she recognized me again, but this time I was divorced so the rest is good history.😉
