I think a better Dem message on race would be something like this

Things have changed since the civil rights era, we have come a long way, the democrats fought hard for minority rights against those that would hold you back....In the year 2024, you have opportunity minorities have never enjoyed before.....The US is truly the land of opportunity...Take those hard earned rights that were fought for, achieve your dreams..Your generation has an equality like never before.....

Something along those lines and remind them that you will not quit fighting.......As the Axios article I posted pointed out Dems are losing support from minorities, especially Hispanics Asians, but Black voters too...Its not the 60s anymore, and to treat it as such is almost an insult now days, people are more than race alone......and to quote and old phrase dems may add...'We've come a long way baby'
