Guess you would have really hate the piece I posted that populist are highly democratically oriented and patriotic....

I certainly do, since it's not true. Again: they're mostly conservatives. And they haven't changed. Many are science deniers, like Bryan before them. Many are religious bigots, like Coughlin. Many are racists, like George Wallace and Pat Buchanan.

I would never be proud of being a populist. But then I'm not a populist, so...
