We'll see if it works out that way. But if it's bringing manufacturing back to the U.S., why are you pissed off about it? Isn't that something Trump claimed he wanted, but didn't achieve? Didn't his followers want it as well? Weren't they presumably disappointed when their hero couldn't manage it, and only succeeded in imposing some tariffs?

As for whether that will affect inflation, time will tell. Here's an interesting article from about a year ago. It explains some of the complexities of the tariff question:
