re: I find it interesting that they go up to 5% royalty, and as you mentioned, this is a blended royalty. To me, this suggests that the possibility exists that XDRAM royalty rates may be higher than 5% (possibly much higher?).

Perhaps, but the royalty rate for a RaSer serial link will be much lower, less than 1% maybe, so the blended royalty rate for all products at something inside 5% seems logical to me.

Just my opinion.
