yeah, but I've just never been a big city guy.. Even logging all my years downtown, it was out of need, not purpose. I grew up here, next to the forest preserves and the wildlife. I couldn't ever imagine myself having a space downtown and the lifestyle that comes with it.. It's for some but never for me.

I'm close enough to experience it but also far enough to distance myself. Manhattan was overwhelming for me, even with tooling around Chicago streets forever. It took me days to get acclimated and even then it was still spooky..
