I think I should interject here. I'm the one that came off totally nasty and blunt. No one knows his history on here, maybe Janice, but he doesn't mess with Janice that I could see. I've attacked him with no real substantiation except his posting history. Whether he's being fake or not when he comes off nice, he obviously can converse like a normal human being when he wants. Most other times it's as a condescending pumper.
But my opinion should not rule his conduct he chooses to use. Nor should I have abused the board to abuse him. I have no real right to drag stuff out like I did. I'm sorry for that and feel cheapened for it.
But I take nothing back because I know more of the past. And he hasn't changed all those years. Since he can't attack me in PM, it's not that much fun for him to trouble himself.
I honestly tried to keep my personal feelings of this subject to myself and will try much harder to ignore this member out of respect for the people on this board.
The trick is to control my detest and distrust reflex. I don't even pay attention to that member except when he comes on a board like he does out of the blue.
Finally, to explain what set me off, is that alias was inactive for years and then shows up some other place and spews his braggadocio and I made, of course, some derogatory comment not unlike his attacks and suddenly he's posting on at least 3 boards I frequent. What are the odds out of hundreds of boards to post on that in the same day or two this alias is there. And one board he posted 350 posts in less than 3 days. He made some defensive posts/attacks which is expected and don't really blame him, I'm a nobody but it's like, he's thinking, Okay the asshole attacked me so I'm just going to hang on his boards to make him nuts for awhile.
He zinged me a couple of times and made me react. But I think that's over. So if the member was doing this for effect it'll go away. I'm not silly enough to think it's wholly aimed at me like I mean anything to that member because I know I don't. Basically, this member from all his posts has never cared for the general population here anyhow. Just suckers to rip off.
Enough said. He probably won't respond because none of this really means anything to him anyhow. And it will be easy for him to hide behind his nice facade.
