Do you recall seeing any other criminally indicted defendant giving interviews on their way in and way out of courts every day. I don't remember if o.j. did.
There's lots of people in the background coming and going to other trials and they don't get to go on camera. What happens if the judge orders no camera set ups within 50 yards.

He'd have to do it outside.
