Unfortunately, both of my children have known me their entire lives and have lived with my own discussions toward Vietnam and what my generation went through.
My daughter is pleased that I finally ditched my military school in my senior year and within a year had changed drastically, and joined the protest move against that war.
As for the Iraqi war, from day one as she was of age to understand that America attacking the wrong nation because of 9-11 was wrong.
Once again you seem to believe that the slaughter of children through the ages is acceptable to your kind of thinking. That is why we take issue with you. You see the past and remind yourself it is acceptable to continue to kill children. But that is you, and that is why we take issue with you constantly.
We see the past and think mankind can do better, just how many times do you have to keep killing children before it actually bothers you. My children and grandchildren seem to think you are supposed to learn from your past and not repeat those same mistakes over and over.
You look at the past and say well we slaughtered children, so who gives a shit. Just keep having wars and not learn anything from them.
But we do know you never give a shit about the slaughtering of children, it has been done during the history of mankind, so why even stop. Since you think like that, then you endorse Iran attacking Israel, and hopefully 10,000s of Jewish children dying will be a good thing for you.
Be careful of what you wish for, it is thinking like yours that makes war the only answer to the worlds. problems.
So let us all grab a gun, and go kill some children to make you happy, after all that is what mankind has done in the past.
