In other old news, America propped up the Taliban, helping to arm it in its fight against Russia. America gave Saddam chemical weapons to use in Iraq's years long fight against Iran.

Remember Iran Contra? Remember the US backing the death squads in El Salvador?

Countries miscalculate, they make mistakes, no one's denying this was a mistake, a bad mistake. But if you have an original point or insight, have out with it, reprinting articles is neither.
