And YET they are VOTERS too! And it says something about the Good 'Ole U.S. of A.. Doesn't it? As a whole?

Regardless of what you THINK of them as people: Mental midgets or not! Uneducated or whatever (is largely immaterial).

Historically, the powers that be have seen to it to keep a POPULOUS less than well-educated. And THAT is putting it mildly...

Religion, ignorance, etc., make people easier to control. If there are enough of them, with either the POWER to VOTE (which they hold); or a CAUSE, they could become dangerous. Blindly following TRUMP would NOT be a good thing - as I'm sure most here know - & he CLEARLY has them believing things that aren't true: Look what that combination achieved on Jan 6th!

And you NOW have REPUBLICANS (who initially - & then OFFICIALLY denounced Him 1/6), who are re-aligning themselves once again with this CLOWNSTICK!

Look, ...enjoy your Country! I don't live there anymore & haven't since Bush! But I STILL LOVE IT. We have roots there, & a family history of success (as immigrants dating back to my Great Grandfather - an immigrant engineer & laborer; whose wealth BEGAN by building U.S. RAIL ROADS) there. And who served in WW1. My Grandfather would serve in WW2.

So SLAM the OTHERS all you like. If you don't see Trump AS AN ISSUE -- & trying to get at the heart of the concerns with your fellow countrymen/women; then so be it! It's often said, you do NOT get the LEADER you want: But the ONE you deserve. A democracy, like a business, relationship, family, etc., has to be FOUGHT FOR! Requires investment, attention, communication - even compromise & empathy (among whatever else).

The Founding Fathers -- in particular Hamilton & Jefferson FOUGHT very VIGOROUSLY about the direction of the Country: One being CONVINCED that the Future of the U.S.A. lay in an Agrarian Society -- whilst the other CONVINCED it lay in Manufacturing & Commerce!! So NOT MUCH has changed. People disagree. But the U.S. has STOPPED having civil discourse in these matters LONG, LONG AGO!! And that is no bueno (not good)!


Moreover, finger-pointing after-the-fact isn't going to accomplish much. It's GREAT for the MEDIA... & likely to score ratings. But I suspect the QOL (quality-of-life) in the U.S. is going to continue to decline. Not wishing it... Of course, just saying that's where things seem to be heading...

PS: Technology, removal from tribal systems, current lifestyle & trends (especially in the U.S.) seem to be causing mental health issues, supporting alienation, disintegration of the family unit & all the rest. It is why we left. I don't wish to see it erode any further, but that is the crash-course path the U.S. seems to be heading on... GL




PSS: Forgive the language. English is not my first (nor second, or third) language; & so I don't claim to be perfectly understanding &/or explaining myself -- as I might in the languages of my ancestors/parents (before they came to the U.S.). Just saying.... There is THAT! Peace!
