SUBSTANTIATION:
Re the well-worn REPUBLICAN CLAIM that "the economy, etc., does better" (under a Republican President)... As it turns out the Democrats (of late, anyway) seem to have BOTH: Generated more revenues (while in office), AND been more fiscally responsible (as evidenced by the general DEBT/DEFICIT reduction) with them vs Republicans.
Maybe ONE of these YEARS we'll be surprised to hear that CONGRESS isn't VOTING around a last-minute government SHUT-DOWN because they actually have funds -- & as a result; more than just an, 'interest payment' is being made. Imagine that...?
