With production ramping up, there is still the potential for a surplus of silkworms and silk moths. However, there is a new, sweeping trend that just so happens to align perfectly with this approach.

With many claiming insects are the protein of the future, silkworms could very well end up being the sustainable snack of the future, leaving Kraig Biocraft Laboratories’ silk production practically byproduct-free.

I don’t believe this pr bodes well for the pps. Not one mention of Vietnam or
what has been going on over there.

I believe most were hoping for an update and this pr gives the impression Kim may be pivoting away from spider silk itself.
