Agree it's best to avoid where you can and tolerate in silence where it's wise muchly to. I do get into trouble sometimes when i say what i think about something someone has said, someone who talks like our trolls do here. it's the ones who are overly defensive about any disagreement, the ones who have personal problems who erupt sometimes. After retirement it becomes a bit easier, you don't have to work with any of that. Agree that most time "'... aw, fuck it " is the way to cruise. Depends what another says. Any racist crap i never keep silent. Lazy, silly, generalization i don't much resist either.

Being so old helps, not that those types respect that (and why should they, age in itself is not worthy of respect), just helps to be able to get away with a question like umm..... something said more suggestive and relatively non-aggressively too. LOL With a smile. No doubt you know exactly what i'm talking about.
