Scalise, whom I find disagreeable, brought that up:

Whether it's true or not, I don't know, because I haven't read the bill. But McConnell' commented:

Mitch McConnell, the top Senate Republican, has supported the negotiations, saying Republicans would not get a better deal under a Republican White House.

And then Dear Leader sent word not to vote for it or else.
