The DOJ knew what was chargeable; they went for what was provable. Defrauding the U.S. and obstructing an official proceeding is sufficient.

What you can 'easily see' is absurd on its face if for NO other reason than the scenes of 1/6 are etched in the minds of Dems and Republicans alike. Everyone know that any attempt at a repeat will be met with armed, locked and loaded, opposition.
