Thanks fuagf. But actually, there's more good people involved in all aspects of rap than negative. Lots of talent disguised as thugs. It's just happens to be a selling point. But who's buying (spending money) on all of the product? Real thugs from my old neighborhood being crackheads and druggies I can't see as having enough disposable cash to keep paying for music.

And thankfully not all rap is thug/drug related. One just has to look.

But I'm not into it in a general sense as art. Which is strange as I used to produce poem and poetry night productions. More people started just standing there rapping and we had to split up the programming. Poetry and a rap as poetry half hour. But those shows weren't musical, they were story telling.

I know that at least two of the kids have national exposure now.
