Repubs and Dems never think the other is right about anything....Both stuck in gear and we have no reset

That wasn't the case until recently. Things began to fall apart when the Tea Party arrived on the scene. But our elected representatives were still able to compromise on bills. They weren't what anyone REALLY wanted, but they contained elements that everyone wanted. That's what compromise is.

The problem is that nowadays, Republican members of Congress either are Trump culties, or are afraid to vote for anything that will displease Trump culties or Trump himself. The border bill that was hammered out is a case in point: it gives Republicans more than they've had in 40 years, but that's not good enough for Trump. That's disgusting.

Last year's Republican-led House was the most unproductive in the history of the nation.
