I posted this on the DWAC board.

Nah, the decision on the appeal of the 'total immunity' for a president case is due any day. THAT'S what caused the decision to delay the 1/6 case. And I think the delay is meant to goose the appeal decision.

I further think that they're taking their time to craft a unanimous opinion that will be strong enough to enable the SCOTUS to decline to hear another appeal with the statement, 'what they said'.🤨
