Trump is running for office to stay out of prison, not the other way around. He threw his hat in the ring in the middle of an investigation and 2 years before the campaign would normally begin.

I believe the case in Colorado was brought by Republicans. The case is made by Judge Michael Luttig and George Conway, both conservative, Republican heavyweights.

Trump hasn't been charged for any of the documents he returned. Both Biden and Pence had documents inadvertently. And there's been no evidence presented that either of them had any defense information.

Trump claimed they were his, they were planted and he wanted them back, they were mixed in with his T shirts, they never existed... and fuck you. I'm keeping them. So I don't see much comparison there.

The fact that DA Willis turned to Judge Wade, an old friend, after her other choices turned her down, isn't tainting a fucking thing, except with stick-up-their-ass MAGAts who want to pretend human beings aren't allowed to have sex. They're on the same team. Where's the conflict or tainted case in that?
