I dont think there is any question that the boys MUST move forward immediately. tTey have enough to break ground with 1 maybe 2 so given the choice of moving forward with a smaller amount or waiting for Devon et al for more........only a fool would gamble and not FID. If they got tangled up and delayed further, you can say good bye to those non-binding SPAs who expect LNG per the contract delivery dates.
Also, per the below they could still move forward with agreements to free trade countries despite those idiot politicians. Who is it that is essentially a broker for Delfin LNG that signed an SPA? They could just temporarily sell to their vendors who are free trade nations.
This action includes a pause on pending applications for exports of U.S. natural gas as LNG to non-free trade agreement countries until the department can update the underlying analyses for authorizations."
We are very fortunate that Delfin is so far along with this project. They are fools if they don't act now. End of story.
