Not only that—she also seems to not know the proper use of the terms additive and synergistic. E.g., in McMinn’s scenario #4, which she describes verbally as the case in which NM283 and ribavirin have synergy, the footnote to the figures on the third row of the table says the UND rates are only “partially additive.”
In other words, McMinn does not depict any scenario in which the two drugs are fully additive or more than fully additive, which is the usual meaning of synergy.
