At this time, if a patient is diagnosed with RSV, Flu, or COVID, they are most likely to be prescribed an antibiotic, or nothing.

If your doctor is prescribing antibiotics after you have been diagnosed with RSV, Covid or influenza, then you better get a new doctor.

The only treatment for RSV is Synagis, and IV antibody for young children.

Depending on how poorly you are feeling, if it is bad and you have co-morbidities, your doctor would be negligent not to prescribe Paxlovid for Covid or Tamiflu for influenza. If they won't then you better get a new doctor.
