He might have. But I tend to doubt that was the reason.

This guy had just acquired 8,770 shares in stock options and converted them @ $41.56. He then turned around and sold 28,228 shares @ $87.24, pocketing roughly $2.47M. After the transaction, he still has over 203K shares, which means he only shed roughly 14% of his holdings, retaining 86%.

I think probably he saw MU near its all-time high ($91 and change in 2021) and decided to take a little off the table. Gave himself a nice little Xmas present.
