I'm in Minnesota. Every year, each district has to send in their UFARS (Uniform Financial and Accounting Standards) data to the State. It's not all that enviable- in fact, it takes a hell of a lot of time, paperwork and accounting, all of which is typically ignored by those who seem to constantly complain about "no accountability".
