That's a far cry from calling people morons or idiots or stupid, as many here routinely do. My criticism was constructive, a path to self improvement (that part is a joke, get it?), calling people names is not.
Whenever people go ad hominem, it can mean only a couple of things. That they can't substantively challenge someone's opinion or that they need to try to show that they're superior. The particular person I posted that to is an egregious insulter of others on this board. And he's probably a better person than that, so I thought I'd point it out.
I'm not accusing you of doing this, but so many on this board cannot deal with differences of opinion without resorting to personal attacks. Check it out if you don't believe me, or don't, it doesn't differ to me.
