When typing the cursor moves with you. You don't have a hand on the mouse. If you want to insert a link, say after putting in two periods and a space, like .. HERE .. then one hand went to the mouse, you right clicked it, the menu came up and the paste occurred where you wanted it to, irrespective of where the actual mouse then sat. That was before it changed for me. Before the change, about four days ago for me, the mouse could have been moved from the exact place you wanted to paste. It didn't matter where the mouse was sitting when the paste was clicked. The paste still occurred in the correct place.

Now unless the mouse is situated EXACTLY where so it would place the cursor on the exact spot the paste occurs somewhere else. Depends now where the mouse is sitting.

Pressing the Return, for me the Enter key, does nothing to fix the change.

Despite your injection of slight sarcasm in yours i appreciate your suggestion.

Maybe my mouse, for no apparent reason, had a stroke or something. Either that or it's some little tech thing admin has done which has adversely affected my desktop experience here.

I've tried your suggestion a number of times to absolutely no effect. Thanks anyway. Enjoy your day.
