The answer is that innocent civilians are being killed on both sides in this war.

No one can claim a moral higher ground, they're all murderers.

The main difference is that Hamas is committed only to killing all the Jews and getting rid of Israel (their words, not mine). They are uninterested in a two state solution if one state is Israel.

If Israel wanted to kill all the Palestinians, they'd all be dead by now.
