Makes perfect sense, with basically normal people just wanting to be politicians.
But not with orangedonshittypants. Why? Because he didn't want to be president. At first.

Way back in 2012 orangefatface saw the writing on maralooney bathroom wall that he was staring down a double barreled shotgun of lawsuits from many directions with his companies and financials and had two choices. The first A. was to stock up on more lawyers and play more delay games as usual, or B. play politician and run for president because someone told him on the golf course that being pres could stop all the lawsuits for at least 4 years. orangedonshittypants was already saying that if he ran the election would be fixed and corrupt. BEFORE he even made a public announcement about running itself. So he was fully aware of how to influence public sentiment.

Only when he 'stole' the election by paying people to destroy his opponent did he realize being president is the ONLY way to protect himself and wealth. Only when his minions sat down and explained it to him, because he doesn't read or understand shit except on his phone, ""as long as you're president,,,no one can touch you""". Which became his single thought since 2014. orangedonshittypants didn't even think he'd win. And he wouldn't have if it wasn't for the corrupt party of his bending rules, making up rules and realigning almost the entire United States voting lines in their favor.

So, being president for orangefatface was in name only and not about the country, citizens or anything else official. Just a legal safe room for his majesty orangefatface.

Presidential immunity may be his last defense, and most definitely his go to delay tactic and should he lose that, we could have some quick settlements before we know it.

And now it's at the door of scrotus which he knew he was going to do when he loaded it up with traitors. orangefatface absolutely knew and planned for anything against him to be taken to the highest court.

Now we will find out if that's working for him. The country has lost almost all trust and respect for this sitting scrotus and should they vote to protect one single person in this case, they will and should lose every bit of trust and respect that's left. And THEY should be removed.
