You’re not kidding about halfway around the globe. This is not a casual trip. My friend moved to Ho Chi Minh recently an he said it takes like 30 hours each way and it’s a huge pain in the ass with layovers. This is not like traveling to a convention in Las Vegas. That is why I think the significance of this trip was more than just a tour. My 2 cents anyway.
