You can't get good credit from banks and institutions. That's the way they've worked it out. Why do you think 850 is only known as 'good' credit. Soon to be a 900 rating. 700 isn't good credit. You can only have decent credit if you don't need the money. It wasn't just a few years ago that 700 rating was amazing. Now it's the lower 50%.

Blood pressure rates keeps going down when 120/80 was healthy, now it's 110/65? But it sure sells a lot of blood pressure medication.

Credit card companies and banks are now setting late fees between 40 and 50 dollars. Credit card companies somehow made it legal to raise your interest rate on your capital one bank card if you're late on totally non related companies like a walmart card or even your phone bill. Car insurance can and do raise your premiums based on late pay on credit cards. How in the hell is that related?

Who benefits? The super wealthy that owns those companies. It's all trickle UP.
