As far as I can figure, the people that shorted prior to the dividend had to come up with the divi, so they borrowed YOUR divi to give it to the shorted stockholder.

Sort of like robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Anyway, since it has been months, A value has to be established for the whole nonsense.

My best guess.
