I am a few years behind you, but the number of classmates, friends, and acquaintances that answer roll call each year is declining at an increasing rate. Seems like breast cancer is still taking a lot of women, and the members of the old crew that sort of scoff at medicine are paying the price. Seems like auto crashes are forming a dumbell-shaped curve-- peaked during the wild years, then mellowed for middle age, now seems to be making a comeback as people lose eyesight and reaction times.
