i'm curious to see what effect vmware deal will have 8 and other ip companies. apis of layer 7 gateway seem to be one of the places 8 can be important. dell once owned vmware and mdell owns a lot of vmware. 50% cash and 50% stock of avgo. it's where the cash might go that is a bit more interesting. a dell business layer 7 gateway network could be in the future?
