Many who profess to be believers aren't really, but instead are insiders, or paid touts whose job it is to pretend they do believe.

And then there are some who have gambled so much for so long on this rather obvious scam that they can't bring themselves to face the truth, not least because to so would also require them to confess to their family and friends what has really happened to their savings, their college funds and so on. Thanksgiving won't be much fun for those folks.

It's rather sad, really.
