Here's a couple of what I think is hilarious insider jokes just for the msnbc studio people and exec's.
First, there are literally thousands of digital images of orangedonshittypants to use as graphics, even to regular people on desktops, but the studios get full excess to probably all internet image libraries.

Knowing this, an editor used shittypants's mug shot for the video thumbnail.
And the better joke is the editor used shittypants's very exact editorial election thumbnail that msnbc used on all it's live and other election coverage of 2020, including the final tally.

so while the msnbc talking head is describing all the criminality and prison odds and such, the graphic used is shittypants's election graphic.

Sometimes the choice is made by a single person who hates somebody.

Another thing to know, picking a graphic is never an accident when one has hours to construct a presentation or video.
