“If I’m in that universe, I’d be thinking about, ‘Hey, who am I going to hire to run my campaign since my Democratic base has left me? Who am I going to hire as a pollster because my Democratic base has left me? Who am I going to hire as a grassroots operative since my Democratic base has left me?'” said Coughlin, the Arizona-based pollster.

“I’d be wantin’ pretty quickly to put a team together that can functionally work with me to narrate my candidacy,” he added. “Cause we know, you know, the worst thing that can happen is having a candidate run their own campaign.”

This rings fucking hollow by all the leeches and influencers who've created the whole 'campaign' need glomers charging millions to do office work. The millions in the PAC's aren't just going to rally's and high priced advertisers, millions go to a small handful of leeches of each candidate who overcharge their salaries have convinced candidates they can do the job for them. These packaged 'pro's' created a whole industry for themselves. When their client loses they just move on to the next loser/candidate mark.

When was the last time anyone heard a candidates campaign get sued for malpractice? Has any of them had to give money back?
