Everyone I know that has a pension, has stated they have no say in what the fund does. And if they go through the hoops and research to find that info, the company that established their pension says we decide the packages and instruments. 'For your benefit'.

I don't even know what a blue collar person can do about their pension and I've never had any reason to find out.
Is this some sort of lesson in guilt or something I'm missing?

I'm basically agnostic, whatever that means. I'm also almost maga level about religions and middle east , europe, florida legislators and shittypants's hooker bills. So, respectively, you probably shouldn't waste your time with me.
