I can't see a way it's doable unless prices are reduced probably in the 75% range. Our companies offers the top notch singles health insurance free to the employees. This policy is not a HSA and the employees pay $5 for a doctors visit and $5 for a script. We pay the insurance company a little less than $800 per month per employee for this policy.
Now if 30% to 40% go on a GLP drug for lifetime at around $1200 to $1400 per month you can see this would collapse immediately. Would we be able to pay $1000 to $1200 per employee? Sure, but it would eventually show up in their future earnings or we'll increase automation or imports.
