I know it is impossible for a democrat to comprehend, but there is a truism in economics that lower tax rates produce more income and therefor more tax revenue -- that is what is happening with the Trump tax cuts which should be made permanent -- without the repubs standing in the way the USA would be in the same shape as Venezuela -- confiscatory taxes -- zip on tax revenues
