Thanks. Looks like since the blockade of the strip since 2007 by Israel AND egypt has created some of the densest concentration of people in the world with no easy ingress or egress. Kind of like an american indian reservation where they are not free to leave, and if they fight back they get clobbered. Fighting like cornered animals still doesn't make killing civilians OK, but Israel raining rockets down on civilian populations doesn't seem to be appreciably different to me. Since most all of it is happening in the guise of religion, I don't like having my tax dollars funding this slaughter, even indirectly. If american jews and american islamics want to send them their money, fine, that is a kind of a freedom of religion that is up to them.
My views are probably oversimplified, but jews and muslims fighting each other doesn't really register much on my concern-o-meter. When have they ever NOT been doing that in the name of religion?
