Agree . My wife is a Nephrology PA and rounds several dialysis clinics. She has the occasional stage 4 patient approaching the need for dialysis ...who simply refuse to start dialysis . They usually die of an arrhythmia set off by hyperkalemia ...high serum potassium. Its not often a trial is stopped at interim for efficacy . Dew probably has the figures on that So this trial may be great news for CKD patients ...not so great for those who own DaVita and the Co's that sell drugs into the dialysis market JMO Kiwi
