It has been rough year for biotech. The last few years have been mediocre.

You can get a 5% return on a CD or treasury without thinking twice, or you can flip the coin and hope you pick a winner.

KEEP IN MIND: BABY BOOMERS ARE RETIRING and are more interested in a steady income than a coin flip as to what stock could go, “To the moon!”

Plus, if they retire, they will no longer automatically be adding part of their salary into their company matched retirement fund. In fact, they’ll start to draw it down to supplement their retirement expenses.. This is a corollary to social security having more people age 65+ withdrawing than younger workers contributing, hence the overly hyped concerns that social security will “run out.”
