Holy cow on this one! When it was first disclosed that Si3N4 could kill viruses I found that ammonia kills ss-RNA viruses and I proclaimed that it was likely true that Si3N4 could kill ss-RNA viruses as well. Thats been true for covid and every RNA virus they have tested so far. Now it looks as if Si3N4 might also be effective against double stranded DNA viruses too...at least that was the case for herpes simplex. Double stranded dna viruses are much more complex than single stranded RNA viruses. So I'm hopeful that Si3N4 can tackle other DS-DNA viruses like it can ss-RNA viruses.
